Shannon, A Joyful Bride To-Be.

 

As a freelance photographer, there are so many joys in what I do.  There is nothing quite like witnessing, or hearing about, the excitement a client has when they see their images for the first time.  But, also, there is nothing quite like getting to know your clients.  

Below are some images of my most recent bridal shoot, featuring Shannon.  I have known her since we were in college together, and although we were never the closest of friends, just to know her and hear her story is a joy.  That’s really the ultimate excitement of what I do and hope to do for a very long time, is to get know people and hear the stories.  

When I was photographing her in the studio, her parents were just so excited for her to marry the man of her dreams.  And so many stories were going everywhere, and I was just simply excited to be able to take her picture and see her excitement about getting married through her smile.

Shannon’s Dress. A teaser.

 

Greetings.  

 

This past Saturday was such a thrill for me.  Not only did I get a chance to catch up with an old friend from school, but I was also able to photograph her in her wedding dress.  And check this, she is getting married on the same day as me.  Woah.  July is a good month indeed.  

 

Meet Shannon, and she has picked out a beautiful wedding dress.  Her husband to-be, will definitely be at a loss for words.  Her parents were with us during the bridal shoot and what a joy it was to catch up with them as well.  I don’t think I have ever met a more prouder and happier set of parents.  They are truly honored to have Shannon’s husband to-be, be a part of their lives, as a son-in-law.
